Horseshoe Bend (pt. 1)

Horseshoe Bend is a horseshoe-shaped incised meander of the Colorado River located near the town of Page, Arizona.

Horseshoe Bend (pt. 2)

The overlook is 4,200 feet (1,300 m) above sea level, and the Colorado River is at 3,200 feet (980 m) above sea level, making it a 1,000-foot (300 m) drop. Better hold onto your camera gear tight.

This place is truly breathtaking. The sheer scale is unbelievable.

Navajo Generating Station

The Navajo Generating Station is one of the biggest coal-fired powerplant in the West. It has been in operation since 1976. However, in 2017, the utility operators of the power station voted to close the facility when the lease expires in 2019.

Love

I almost missed this shot. I was taking photos a few steps to the right while also standing up. My focus was on the canyon walls and the textures. As I changed my camera settings, it suddenly occurred to me that the "hole" of light between the two canyon walls looked like a heart. I then carefully positioned myself to take this. Once I saw the result, I was in love.

Burst

Lighting in the slot canyons is unbelievable. Different rays bouncing off the exquisite walls make them even more beautiful. Also, sometimes it's good to look up.
